Good morning,
We are thrilled to share that Burgess Hill Girls School raised £150 for Headway Sussex during their recent fundraising event!
On Friday 14th, students hosted a hot chocolate sale during morning break, offering cups of hot chocolate either “plain” or with cream and sprinkles”—the latter proved very popular!
The event was organised by students from the Psychology Department, who are learning about brain function and neural plasticity, including recovery after brain trauma, alongside their ‘Make a Difference’ club. Girls from all year groups came together to support the event, showing wonderful community spirit.
The funds raised will go towards our Big Cuppa event, a celebration of both our clients and their amazing carers, helping to recognise the incredible support given to people living with brain injuries across Sussex.
A huge thank you to everyone at Burgess Hill Girls for your creativity, hard work, and generosity! 💙
