Last week, we celebrated a very special milestone at our Newick centre as one of our clients turned 80 years old.
It was a lovely opportunity for clients, staff, and volunteers to come together and mark the occasion.
At Headway Sussex, we support people living with acquired brain injuries, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and brain haemorrhage. Recovery and adjustment can be lifelong, and many people face ongoing challenges with memory, fatigue, communication, confidence, and isolation.
That is why moments like this matter.
Our centres and support groups are not only places for rehabilitation and support, but also places where friendships are built and important life moments are shared. Celebrating birthdays, achievements, and milestones together helps create a sense of community and belonging for people who may otherwise feel isolated after brain injury.
We are proud to support our clients through every stage of their journey and to celebrate these important moments alongside them.
Thank you to everyone who helps make Headway Sussex such a supportive community π
Best Wishes
The Headway Sussex Team
