Dear Supporter,
Last week, we were delighted to host a special Volunteer Training Day for the incredible people who give their time, kindness and energy to support Headway Sussex.
Our amazing Volunteers Co-ordinator, Kate, alongside ABI Navigator Co-ordinator, Sam, completed the training course and brought everyone together for a meaningful and enjoyable day. The training was followed by a wonderful lunch, giving volunteers the opportunity to connect, share experiences and celebrate the difference they make to the lives of our clients every single week.
At Headway Sussex, our volunteers are at the very heart of what we do. From leading music sessions and seated exercise classes, to supporting gardening activities, helping with administration, offering companionship and so much more, their contribution is invaluable. Every volunteer brings something unique, helping our clients regain confidence, independence and connection after brain injury.
The compassion, patience and dedication shown by our volunteers creates a welcoming and supportive environment across all of our services. Their willingness to give their time so generously helps us continue providing life changing support to brain injury survivors and their families throughout Sussex.
If you would like to volunteer with Headway Sussex, you can now easily submit an application through our website (https://headwaysussex.org.uk/volunteer-application-form/). Whether you have a few hours to spare each month or would like to volunteer regularly, we would love to hear from you and welcome you into our community.
We are so grateful for every single volunteer who chooses to be part of the Headway Sussex community. Your support truly helps us keep our doors open and continue making a difference.
Thank you for everything you do 💙
Best Wishes,
The Headway Sussex Team
