Important Community Safety Information for Saturday 13th June πŸ’™

Dear Supporters,

We wanted to make our community aware of events planned to take place in Brighton & Hove on Saturday 13th June.

A far-right anti-migrant march is expected to take place in the city, although the exact route has not yet been confirmed. A counter-protest, Carnival Against Fascism, is also planned in Queens Road on the same day.

We are sharing this information so that members of our community can make informed decisions and plan ahead where possible.

If you are travelling in or around Brighton & Hove on Saturday 13th June, please take extra care, particularly in areas where demonstrations may be taking place. This may be especially important for people from minoritised communities, those who may feel vulnerable, or anyone who may find large gatherings and protests distressing.

If you support someone living with a brain injury, you may wish to discuss travel arrangements, alternative routes, or any adjustments that could help them feel more comfortable and safe on the day.

Please look after yourselves and each other.

If further information about the route becomes available, we encourage you to check local updates before travelling.

With best wishes,

The Headway Sussex Team πŸ’™
