Springtime Joy at Headway Sussex – Easter Fun & Crafty Creations! 🌷🐣

At Headway Sussex, we’ve been feeling the springtime joy thanks to a brilliant line-up of Easter-themed sessions – filled with colour, creativity, and community spirit.

One of the biggest highlights? Our Easter crafts sessions, brought to life by our amazing new volunteer, Melody. With a natural flair for creativity and a heart full of kindness, Melody has brought something really special to our hubs this season.

Volunteers like Melody truly are the backbone of our charity. They give up their time, energy, and skills to create uplifting moments for our clients – and we can’t thank them enough. Whether it’s through crafting, gardening, music or just a warm conversation over tea, our volunteers make a real difference every single day.

Clients have shared how much they enjoy the relaxed, friendly atmosphere in Melody’s sessions – and how rewarding it feels to take part in something creative and hands-on.

We also hosted a joyful Easter Egg Hunt at our Wayfield Avenue Hub – and it was a cracking success! 🍫🌼 Clients and team members alike got stuck in, searching high and low for hidden treasures, and celebrating with chocolatey treats and big grins.

These moments of connection and celebration are a big part of what we do. They bring people together, lift spirits, and remind us all how important it is to make space for joy and creativity – especially in recovery.
