Your Invitation to Our 2026 Support Groups ๐Ÿ’™

Hello,

We hope youโ€™re keeping well.

As we begin 2026, many of us are looking for fresh opportunities to connect, reflect, and find renewed support.

At Headway Sussex, our Support Groups offer a warm, welcoming space where you can do just that (whether youโ€™re adjusting to life after a brain injury or continuing your journey forward.)

Why join a Support Group?

  1. Shared experiences
Our groups bring together people who truly understand the challenges and achievements that come with living with a brain injury.

By sharing your story with others who โ€œget it,โ€ you can build connections and feel less alone.

  1. Emotional support
Coping with a brain injury can feel overwhelming at times. Our groups offer a space to talk openly with people who empathise with your journey, offering comfort, reassurance, and understanding.
  2. Practical advice
Whether youโ€™re navigating healthcare, rebuilding confidence, or adjusting to daily routines, our members and facilitators can offer practical guidance and helpful strategies based on real-life experience.
  3. Building resilience
Connecting with others can provide encouragement, fresh perspective, and a sense of shared strength, helping you stay resilient as you face lifeโ€™s challenges.

How to get involved
Joining a Support Group is free and simple.

Youโ€™re welcome to attend any group near you (details in the attached flyer) or sign up for one of our online sessions.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with us at sam.shephard@headwaysussex.org.uk,

Together, we can continue to build a supportive, understanding community that makes a meaningful difference for everyone affected by brain injury.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Warm regards,
