๐ŸŽจ Healing Through Art: Why Creativity Matters After Brain Injury

Good Afternoon,

Over the past few weeks, our art classes at Headway Sussex have been alive with colour, creativity, and connection, and weโ€™re thrilled to share some of the incredible pieces created by our clients.

For those living with brain injuries, art is more than a hobby, itโ€™s therapy!

๐Ÿง  Did you know?
Art activates both hemispheres of the brain, helping to rebuild neural pathways and improve cognitive function. Research shows that creative activity can enhance memory, attention span, and problem-solving skills (all of which can be affected after a brain injury.)

๐ŸŽจ Why it helps:

Whether itโ€™s bold abstracts, detailed landscapes or thoughtful collages, these artworks reflect the incredible progress and personal journeys of the people we support.

Your support allows us to run these therapeutic classes and bring colour back into peopleโ€™s lives after brain injury.
If youโ€™d like to keep the creativty going, feel free to donate below.
