There are many ways to volunteer with Headway Sussex, including:
Hub Activity Support
Support activities at our Hubs across Sussex, helping clients take part in creative, social and wellbeing sessions.
Support Groups
Provide a warm and friendly welcome at our monthly support groups, helping create a safe and inclusive environment.
Administrative Support
Assist with administrative tasks that help our services run smoothly behind the scenes.
Telephone Support and Befriending (ABI Navigator)
Help respond to requests for telephone support and provide befriending for people affected by brain injury.
Events and Fundraising
Support us at ad hoc community and fundraising events throughout the year.
Garden Support
Get involved in garden maintenance and outdoor activities at our Newick site.
Activity Leaders
Share your skills by leading one off or regular activity sessions, such as art, music, fitness, crafts or wellbeing activities.
Talks and Presentations
Help organise or deliver community and fundraising talks to raise awareness of brain injury and the work of Headway Sussex.
No experience needed!

You do not need previous experience of brain injury to volunteer with us. We provide guidance, training and ongoing support so that you feel confident and valued in your role.
