Celebrating an extraordinary supporter: Judy Tilbury
We wanted to take a moment to celebrate someone who has been an incredible supporter of Headway Sussex for many years, Judy Tilbury. 💙
Judy has been fundraising for Headway Sussex for years and has raised more than £30,000 for our charity. Her incredible dedication and generosity have made a real difference to the people we support across Sussex.
Judy’s commitment has been recognised beyond Headway Sussex too. A few years ago, she was honoured with a Headway UK award in recognition of her outstanding fundraising and support. A wonderful achievement and one that reflects just how much she has done for our charity.
And Judy hasn’t stopped!
She has recently raised a further £500 for Headway Sussex and has also created and donated an absolutely beautiful Egyptian tapestry. 🧵✨
Even more generously, Judy has told us that we can either keep the tapestry or sell it to raise even more money for Headway Sussex. We’re incredibly grateful for this thoughtful donation and will be sharing a photo of the tapestry with you so you can see it for yourselves.
Supporters like Judy really are at the heart of everything we do. Our work relies on the generosity of people who believe in supporting those affected by acquired brain injury, and Judy’s incredible fundraising over the years has helped us continue providing vital support, advice and connection to people and families across Sussex.
