Celebrating our Wonderful Collaboration with National Trust Sheffield Park

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting volunteers from National Trust, Sheffield Park at our Newick Hub.

Their dedication and expertise are helping us develop a plan to restore our gardens to their former beauty, offering therapeutic benefits to our clients facing brain injury.

Nature and gardens provide numerous benefits for brain injury survivors.

Engaging with the natural environment can significantly enhance emotional well-being, reduce stress, and promote physical healing. The tranquility and sensory stimulation found in a garden can improve cognitive function, boost mood, and aid in overall recovery. These green spaces offer a sanctuary for reflection, relaxation, and rejuvenation, making them invaluable in the rehabilitation process.

We are incredibly grateful for our relationship with National Trust, Sheffield Park.

Their commitment to our cause is a testament to the power of community collaboration. Partnerships like these enable us to offer holistic support to our clients, leveraging local resources to create a nurturing environment.

Headway Sussex is proud to be an active part of the local community.

Our partnerships across Sussex enrich the services we provide and demonstrate the strength of community spirit.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who contribute to our mission, making a positive difference in the lives of brain injury survivors.

We’re excited to have National Trust, Sheffield Park volunteers back with us soon and can’t wait to see the transformation of our gardens at Newick!

Kind Regards

Headway Sussex
