Etsy shop is now open!

We are delighted to announce that our Etsy online gift shop is now open. You will find a great selection of greeting cards and tote bags for sale.

The focus of the Etsy shop is to showcase the fantastic artwork created by our Headway East Sussex clients and raise much-needed funds for the charity. Some of the designs will be familiar to those who attended our HEADSCAPES art exhibition at the Jubilee Library in Brighton last June.

You can access our Etsy shop via Give as you Live. Sign up and you will raise even more funds for us in the process.

OT Students

Jo Bareham and Sarah Deedman

We have to say a big thank you to Jo Bareham and Sarah Deedman, two third-year Occupational Therapy students from the University of Brighton for volunteering to help set up our Etsy shop.

Jo and Sarah have completed an eight-week diverse placement at Headway East Sussex which included creating a vocational client group that will manage the shop with their support.

The group will support clients looking to build skills and confidence with work-related tasks such as using social media, administration, and planning. As a result, the project will provide a platform for volunteering and returning to work.

Client Benefits

Benefits for clients include: peer support, socialisation, confidence building and improving memory. All profits from the Etsy shop will be reinvested back into this social enterprise project. This will allow us to expand the range and provide funds for the charity.

If you would like to fundraise, volunteer or support Headway East Sussex in general, please contact us.

Thank You!

Thank you for your continued support.
