Exciting Activities at Our Newick Hub! 🎨🖥️

Good Afternoon,

We’re excited to share what’s been happening at our Newick Hub recently! Our clients have been busy engaging in activities that stimulate creativity, enhance cognitive skills, and foster a supportive community.
Art Sessions – More Than Just Painting

Art has become a vital part of our weekly activities, providing a fantastic way for our clients to express themselves, build confidence, and develop fine motor skills. Creative expression is incredibly therapeutic for individuals recovering from brain injuries, helping with emotional regulation and cognitive rehabilitation.

A huge thank you to Alex, our amazing volunteer art tutor, who brings endless enthusiasm and encouragement to every session.

Whether it’s painting, mixed media, or collaborative projects, Alex inspires our clients to push their creative boundaries and produce incredible works of art.

We also want to give a special mention to Jill, our dedicated volunteer, who supports every aspect of our clients’ activities. From offering guidance during sessions to ensuring everyone feels included and valued, Jill plays an essential role in the warm and welcoming atmosphere at our Hub.

Online Escape Rooms – Boosting Digital & Cognitive Skills

In addition to our creative sessions, we’ve introduced online escape rooms, led by our employee Paul.

These sessions offer a fantastic way for clients to sharpen their problem-solving skills, enhance memory, and build teamwork – all within a fun and engaging digital environment.
Escape rooms are particularly beneficial for individuals recovering from brain injuries as they challenge cognitive functions like logic, sequencing, and critical thinking.

Paul’s expertise in digital skills training ensures that clients not only enjoy the challenge but also gain confidence in using technology.

We’re so proud of everything our clients have been achieving, and we’re excited to continue bringing innovative and inclusive activities to the Hub!

Thank you for your ongoing support. If you’d like to visit us or learn more about our activities, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Warm Regards,

The Headway Sussex Team
