Halfway Through the Year – Help Us Keep the Doors Open 🙏

Dear supporter,

Can you believe we are already halfway through 2026?

We want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported Headway Sussex so far this year. Whether you have donated, fundraised, volunteered, shared our posts, or simply helped raise awareness, your support has made a real difference.

But there is still much more to do.

Every week across Sussex, people living with brain injury come through our doors looking for understanding, routine, friendship, and hope.

For many, our support groups are the first place they feel truly seen and understood after their injury. They provide vital opportunities to connect with others facing similar challenges, reduce isolation, rebuild confidence, and support long-term recovery.

That is why our Campaign of the Year, Keep the Doors Open, remains such an important focus.

We are aiming to raise £15,000 to help keep our support groups running across Sussex to provide life-changing support within local communities.

Your support helps us continue offering:

💙 Regular support groups across Sussex

💙 Safe, welcoming spaces where people can connect and recover

💙 Specialist staff and facilitators who understand the challenges of brain injury

As we head into the second half of the year, we are asking our supporters to help us maintain the momentum. Whether you choose to donate, organise a fundraiser, nominate us as your Charity of the Year, take on a challenge, or simply share our campaign with friends and family, every action helps.

Together, we can ensure that no one faces brain injury alone.

If you would like to support our Keep the Doors Open campaign, please donate today or get in touch to discuss fundraising opportunities.

Thank you for standing with us and helping us keep the doors open for those who need us most.

With best wishes,

The Headway Sussex Team 💙
