Supporting Headway Sussex Through Art: A Huge Thank You to Elphie Quinn

At Headway Sussex, we are always inspired by the incredible ways people come together to support our work. Today, we want to shine a light on the amazing generosity of Elphie Quinn, a talented Handpoke tattoo artist at Brighton Tattoo Collective.

Elphie has been fundraising for us in a unique and creative way, raising £50 for every tattoo selected from her specially designed Headway Sussex fundraising flash card.

So far, Elphie has raised an impressive £350, and she’s not stopping there!

Why Headway Sussex?

Elphie has a personal connection to the cause, as her family was deeply affected by a severe traumatic brain injury. Sharing her reason for choosing to support Headway Sussex, Elphie said:

“Headway Sussex is an independent charity that supports people with brain injuries and their families. Almost 3 years ago, my family took a huge hit when one of us sustained a severe traumatic brain injury. The recovery journey was quite something to witness. He made a miraculous recovery and had the most outstanding care… we are lucky to see him live independently now. He is part of a minority for his type of injury, for most it is incredibly life-altering.”

Elphie’s heartfelt experience with brain injury resonates with our mission at Headway Sussex—to help people living with brain injuries rebuild their lives, offering support not just to survivors but to their families as well.
