We are incredibly grateful to announce that Sussex Stragglers have chosen Headway Sussex as their Charity of the Year.
As part of their fantastic support, they held a Charity Golf Day on Friday 3rd July, bringing together players for a brilliant day of golf, fundraising and community spirit. We were delighted that some of our trustees had the opportunity to play alongside members of Sussex Stragglers and experience the day first-hand.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, an incredible £4,000 was raised to help support people across Sussex living with acquired brain injury.
Support like this makes a real difference. Every pound raised helps us continue providing vital support groups, our free helpline, counselling, hospital liaison and wellbeing services for those rebuilding their lives after brain injury.
To everyone at Sussex Stragglers, everyone who took part, sponsored, donated or volunteered—thank you. Your kindness and commitment will have a lasting impact on the lives of the people we support.
