The Flying Seagulls Return to Headway Sussex! 💙✨

Good Afternoon,

We were thrilled to welcome The Flying Seagull Project back to our Headway Sussex hub in Newick last Friday, 18th July, for two uplifting sensory performance sessions with our clients.

This was the Flying Seagulls’ second visit to Headway Sussex, and they once again filled our hub with laughter, music, movement and connection.

For those unfamiliar, The Flying Seagull Project is a team of performers, musicians and clowns who travel the UK and beyond, bringing joy and creative play to vulnerable children and adults – from hospitals and care homes to refugee camps and community spaces.

Their visit had a truly positive impact!

For our clients living with brain injuries, engaging in laughter and performance isn’t just fun – it’s therapeutic. Laughter helps reduce stress, improve mood and support social interaction, while creative expression through music and movement can aid communication, build confidence and offer a powerful sense of inclusion and wellbeing.

We are incredibly grateful to the Flying Seagulls for their ongoing kindness and commitment – and we look forward to seeing them again soon!

Thank you for helping us make magical moments like these possible. 💙

Kind Regards

The Headway Sussex Team
